George area. Together\, we’ll shape the council’s focus areas and ensure our projects align with the needs and concerns of the community. \n\n\n\nAt the event\, we’ll share insights from our preliminary wildfire risk analysis for our area\, discuss current and planned projects\, and outline practical steps to enhance our resilience. You’ll hear directly from experts at Napa Firewise\, CAL FIRE\, and local officials on wildfire risks\, resources\, and preparedness strategies. \n\n\n\nRSVP – While an RSVP isn’t required\, we’d love to get a sense of who’s attending! SUMMARY:Project Tour for FSC Leads
DESCRIPTION:(Previously scheduled from December 13) \n\n\n\nJoin NCFF for a tour of the recent fuel treatment project to mitigate the spread of fire from Hwy 29 to structures. We will meet at the Tucker Farm Center parking lot (access via Tucker-Summit Drive) for a walking tour of the area and learn from the NCFF Vegetation Management team about the project background and benefits. \n\n\n\nPlease wear appropriate footwear for walking on flat terrain and weather appropriate clothing for cold weather or light rain.  \n\n\n\nThere will be no restroom facilities available at the tour location.
