Through a CAL FIRE Wildfire Prevention grant as part of the Climate Investments Program, Napa Firewise is planning to graze 138 acres in the Berryessa Estates area creating a defensible space buffer around a community with historic and devastating wildfire.
This project is planned for Spring 2026, with tentative annual grazing following through 2029.
