Deadline: Forest Restoration Funding

The Farm Service Agency (FSA) has extended accepting applications for the Emergency Forest Restoration Program (EFRP) for Napa County for the 2020 fires. Applications will be accepted until February 28, 2022. This program is for landowners with forested land that was burned by the Lightning Complex or Glass Fire in 2020. The EFRP program provides payments to eligible owners of nonindustrial private forest land to carry out emergency measures to restore land damaged by a natural disaster. This program can provide up to 75% cost share for forest restoration practices such as debris removal, site preparation and planting materials, and restoration of fire lanes or fuel breaks.
