Crews recently completed work on Howell Mountain Road, as part of a trio of projects Napa Firewise is spearheading in Napa County. Angwin residents say tree debris from winter storm damage that would otherwise serve as fuels for potential wildfires was cleaned up, hardening their properties. The chipping team “went the extra mile,” according to resident Tom Lee, when they blew the chips into a space that was most beneficial to the homeowners.
